Last Day of the Season

Tuesday is the final day of our 2022 season!

We anticipate picking fresh sweet corn throughout the day on Tuesday with the goal to stretch into the afternoon and possibly early evening. This will give you one last chance to grab some fresh ears for dinner and to stuff your freezers full.

We will be at the roadside stand starting 8:00 a.m. and are located one mile West of Lindsay on the South side of Highway 82.

A Family Tradition

We hope everyone had a wonderful day celebrating fathers near and dear.

It is days like this that we appreciate the very person that afforded us this sweet opportunity.

Our father’s ambition to plant an acre of sweet corn four decades ago afforded each of his children the experience of running a small business during their summer breaks. It started with his oldest son and was passed along to all six children as they came of age. The tradition now continues with his grandchildren.

Luckily for our devoted corn customers, our father has 15 grandchildren and that one acre of corn has turned into 24 acres. This means we should have plenty of corn for years to come!

We will be back at the roadside stand Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. See you again soon!

Short Day Thursday

We have experienced three very busy days thanks to our corn craving customers!

With only five more rows left in our first field, we anticipate a short day on Thursday allowing us to rejuvenate before coming back strong on Friday and Saturday.

We are located one mile West of Lindsay on the South side of Highway 82 and can be found most mornings starting at 8:00 a.m.

Sweet Start to the Season

We look forward to officially kicking-off this season first thing Monday morning!

Our soft-start on Saturday allowed us to ease into the busy days and weeks ahead. You can find us most mornings by 8:00 a.m. and throughout the day as fresh loads of sweet corn are picked.

We are located one mile West of Lindsay on the South side of Highway 82.

Let’s make this another memorable year!

Right on Time

It is mid-June, and as predicted, our first field of corn is prime for picking.

We took full advantage of being a Fuhrmann and lined up to perform the obligatory taste test leading up to start of season. It was a sweet job, but somebody had to do it.

We are dusting off our corn-picking equipment and our corn-picking staff. We hope to see you early next week for an official start to our 2022 season.

We are located one mile West of Lindsay on the South side of Highway 82 and look forward to seeing you soon!

See You Next Year

Thank you for yet another successful corn season! We truly appreciated your patience during this year’s challenging and somewhat short schedules. Enjoy your corn and we already look forward to seeing you again next year.

Still Going Strong

Our decision to pick in the mud and rain was a good one today. The corn looks great and our customers are happy. It’s such a pretty day we are still picking and going strong.

Come on by and see us this afternoon!

Closed

We will be closed until the next corn is ready to be picked. Thank you for a jam-packed Wednesday and a very short Thursday morning. We look forward to resuming again next week. Thank you for your patience and your willingness to take a chance on us this morning. See you soon!

Let’s do this again!

We are starting our second field of sweet corn Wednesday morning and plan to be at the roadside stand at 8:00 a.m. This field might be short and sweet, so don’t wait for the weekend. Be sure to get your corn now!
